The Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy within Klinikum rechts der Isar of the Technical University Munich is representing the Munich node of the TESIS network with the fellows Angelique Eydam and Zeynep Emine Okur. Our focus is the investigation of inter-subjective factors associated with stressful bodily experiences that pave the way for treatment implications. Under the supervision of our node leader Peter Henningsen, who is also the director of the department and dean of the clinic, two lines of research are conducted in the node:
- Intra- and Inter-personal emotion regulation in patients with somatoform pain [read more], carried out by the TESIS fellow Zeynep Emine Okur.
- Intersubjectivity and embodied use of objects in young children’s social learning – a comparison of typically developing children and children with psychosomatic disorders/behavioural problems [read more], carried out by the TESIS fellow Angelique Eydam.
