Thomas Fuchs

 is coordinative project leader of the TESIS network and leader of the Heidelberg node. As a professor in the Psychiatric Department Center of Psychosocial Medicine and as Karl-Jaspers-Professor for Philosophical Foundations of Psychiatry at the Universitäty of Heidelberg he is involved in a wide range of research projects such as: “The Brain as an organ of interrelations – Interdisciplinary  perspectives on the development of socially induced capacities” (Das soziale Gehirn), “TESIS“, “Neuroscience and concepts of personhood” including philosophy, psychiatry, theology and neurobiology.
