Sebo Uithol

is a post-doctoral fellow at the Parma node. Sebo has a master’s degree in (applied) philosophy and a PhD in cognitive neuroscience. Although he fully embraces the idea of embodied cognition, in his PhD thesis he argued that processes of action observation and action execution need not match and that, consequently, features such as action hierarchies and intentions might not straightforwardly map on neural mechanisms.

His interests include intentional action, mirror neurons, motor resonance and time perception.
